Paul, my younger brother, left us too soon at age 66. Though life took us down different paths in adulthood, I will always treasure the memories of our early years together—running (quite literally sometimes ☺️) through childhood summers, sharing the same humour, interests including playing football wherever and whenever we could, music and in later life researching our family tree.

To his wife, children, grandchildren and friends, I hope you find comfort in the love and joy he gave you and the memories you shared. Though I wasn’t part of his daily life in later years, I grieve the brother I once knew and the man he became.

Rest easy, Paul. The past may have grown complicated, but you will always be that bright-eyed younger brother who shared my childhood and late- teen years.

With love, Chris and Hilary Petterson xx
